Appointments

appointmentYou may consult any of the doctors, but they prefer to look after their own patients if possible. The doctor will see you in surgery by appointment. There are several ways to book an appointment.

  • Telephone 01299 827171 to use our automated system which is available 24 hours a day (choose option 1 for appointments and option 1 again for the automated system).
  • Telephone 01299 827171 to speak to a receptionist during surgery hours
  • Book on line (click here). If you are not registered for this service you will need to contact reception for an application form.

Urgent cases will be seen the same day, otherwise you will be offered the first available time. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. A non-attendance without giving reception staff the opportunity to reallocate the appointment to someone else, is a waste of doctors’ valuable time.

Same-day requests for appointments will be dealt with by the nurse practitioner who will decide the most appropriate action to be taken after speaking to the patient on the telephone.

It may not be possible to see a named doctor if they are unavailable. If you feel your problem is urgent, please be prepared to see an alternative doctor in your own interest.
