Out of Hours
If you need to contact a doctor in an emergency when the surgery is closed then ring 0300 123 3211 for the PRIMARY CARE CENTRE in Kidderminster.

Test Results
Ask your doctor how long the result will take to come through and then either ring between the hours of 2.00 and 5.00pm Monday to Friday or call into the surgery during the same times. The receptionist will be able to give you a message from the doctor who has checked the result.

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment.

By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

In an average week 30 people fail to attend an appointment with the doctor and 15 fail to attend an appointment with the nurse!

The practice has an active PPG who act as advisors to practice clinicians and management on issues concerning the efficient provision of service. If you would like more information or would like to join the group, this is available at reception upon request.

Friends of York House


The Friends of York House are a charitable group run by patients of the practice to raise funds for equipment to benefit the patients of the practice. They hold regular fundraising events throughout the year. If you would like information on these events, or would like to join the friends, there is an information board in reception.
 
The Friends of York House celebrated their 10th anniversary on Friday evening 13th November 2009.
 
During this time they have raised £20,000 for the surgery to benefit the patients.
 
Dr Kingston and Dr Heath were presented with a plaque by Geoff Knowles, Chairperson for 8 years, listing the equipment purchased with money generously given by patients and friends at functions arranged by the Friends of York House.
 
Mr Knowles retired as Chairperson and the post has been taken over by Mrs June Powell.
